I have to confess...I know where and when Sandra Bernhard works out. And you know what? She's one healthy bitch. What I love about her besides her talent is that she really works out, puts her guts into it. Then she goes to a tiny cubbie and gets her crap, which is minimal, and leaves. Once I saw her wince at the big TV when that big orange slob was talking nonsensically. Seeing Sandra always puts a boost in my workout.
Big Little Lies. I sort of loved it, but sort of didn't. I figured out the ending early on. No spoilers here, except why...why...is there always a puke scene? I was expecting Adam Scott to be the big puker, with his sensitive ways and that hideous beard. But no, it was the one I would never, ever want to see toss her cookies.
It wasn't Nicole.
I saw 7 episodes of Nicole boffing Alex Skars...(finish the spelling for me). If you take away the violence, I could have watched them all day. But that's not the point of the story, is it? The point = people have secrets and men are lame. Nicole was electrifying, even in the floral dresses. Laura Dern is always excellent--especially playing the self-righteous Type-A cow. Love her in Enlightened, well, in everything.
Last thing--I need TV/movie suggestions for TG. We love indulging in TV binge-fests, but I'm afraid his taste is more sophisticated than mine. Here are his favorites: The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, Little Britain. He refuses to watch anything Aaron Sorkin, super-girly shows like Sex & the City and Girls, though Rizzoli & Isles okay. We are show-less so we've been having meaningful conversations. Sigh...

OutRAGEous!
Dish has been ill the last few days but has become completely obsessed with Enlightened. I'm done with Season 1 and am almost tempted to get HBO to see the next season. Is that sad? I won't do it. I'm supposed to save $$$ this year. No more splurging except for Season 1 of Enlightened and new Bruno Mars CD. The chemistry between Laura Dern and Luke Wilson is sizzling. Plus, you gotta love Mike White.
J.Lo on the cover of People. That is not hair. I no longer believe interviews in these magazines. I just get it for the pictures, the opposite of why I get Playboy (I don't get Playboy).
I don't believe it: Adrienne Maloof and Sean Stewart. Tell me this isn't a strange couple. Like where's the motivation for either of them? It looks completely desperate and fake to me. How low can you go? These kind of fake, sad photo ops upset me.
Another mistake of being sick. I'm now obsessed also with The Real Housewives of Atlanta. These are the most beautiful of all the housewives, though much more back-stabby.

"Divorce, Divorce, Divorce"
I don't know if you recognize this line from Steven Seagal's Out for Justice where he plays a Brooklyn cop and wears a crazy beret. His wife leaves him because he's SOOOO devoted to his job (and wears a beret). What does this have to do with the staggering price of Apple products? Tom and Katie have allegedly settled their divorce/custody arrangement. That is AWESOME--and drama free. Makes me wonder: Katie must've had a HUGE, HUGE bargaining chip. Also in divorce: Laura Dern is divorcing Ben Harper, for real this time. I psychically knew this because, the other night, our waitress at some Belgian restaurant on the UES (yes, I went there) looked exactly like Laura. It was uncanny.
Kourtney Kardashian gave birth to a girl, named Penelope Scotland (ugh). I wonder if she pulled the baby out of her own maiden's flower the way she did with Mason. Kourt makes childbirth look so easy.
