Duran Duran Appreciation Day

I'm not sure why this is Duran Duran Appreciation Day. As far as I'm concerned, that should be every day.

Dish woke up at 5am to watch the truly atrocious Bachelor Pad--mostly to see the Vienna and Jake nonsense. They could all be used as landfill (something TG might say).

Dish might be taking a break from Dish. It seems futile to dish when there is so much other dish for others to read. I love reading tabloids but I loved more writing for a celebrity-adoring audience. After five years, what is the point dishing to my inner circle? I could just talk to them directly about my feelings regarding Jennifer Aniston's sex life, Ashton's taking over for feckless Sheen, or Lady GaGa's latest baloney sandwich costume.

What is the point of a blog, aside from being watered down celebrity theory? Perhaps it's time to infiltrate. Deep cover Dish. And as always, Duran Duran forever. And Julia.

Sure, we can read dirt in other sources (although I rely on Dish for my news), but it lacks the unique perspective that only Dish can provide. I fear I would roam aimlessly through the twists and turns of life without Dish, mumbly incoherently and wondering how Julia could have chosen such a sucky movie to do with that old woman Tom Hanks. You don't want to be responsible for that, now do you? And .. how would the world of voyeurs (dare I say XBFs) get a regular dose of Dish's wedded bliss and forthcoming delights and blessings, recognizing how they missed the most delicious train on tracks and still peek in to keep tabs? Let's not whitewash it (*cleverly disguised choice of words) ... Dish reporting on the stars is and continues to be a capital experience.

W/O Dish, I'd become a derelict in the gutter.

We've never met so I'd certainly fall on the outskirts of your inner circle. For the last year or so your blog has been like methadone to my trashy tabloid addiction. You've cured me of all but the National Enquirer (online edition) and gossip cop and for that I owe you a debt of gratitude. It was so nice to indulge in my guilty pleasure in way that wasn't malicious and was often funny to boot. I would think PR folks would have you on speed diale because if the dirt is going to be dragged out into the light of day anyway, wouldn't they want it delivered compassionately and with a sense of humor rather than coated in schadenfruede? I'd certainly rather read it that way.

The need for a break shows growth in character; take a break if you like, it's all good.

Of Course J.J. gets personal Dish & Dish while she get's beautified...
I'm The Luckiest!!!
