Thirty minutes have passed. It's too late for The Grammys but they don't interest me. The IQ level is beyond low and you're bound to get bleeping musicians giving mentally-challenged speeches riddled with "Oh my God" and "You know." Instead, I'm watching TG eat his dinner and waiting for Desperate Housewives.
What's in the news? Nada except for Lindsay's jewelry theft and Lady GaGa arrived to the Grammy's in an egg. There is creativity! Charlie Sheen's porn star is pregnant (I know, which one) and Mira Sorvino's husband was arrested for public intoxication. Hard to believe that's a crime.

We caught the Grammys by accident and got to see a tribute to Dolly, who received a lifetime achievement award along with a bunch of other people. While she wasn't there, seeing pictures of her flash all over the stage while Norah Jones, Keith Urban and John Mayer sang Jolene was moving.
Oh yeah, and Barbara sang.
They should have kicked John Mayer off. Keith and Norah were fabulous, as was Babs.
My sentiments exactly regarding John Mayer.
The surprise for me was the English folk rock band Mumford and Sons. Can't get their song The Cave out of my head. Really enjoyed how much fun they were having while playing. Plus didn't hurt that the boy doing the vocals and playing the guitar was very cute.
